I recently purchased these sweet babies off of KSL from a sweet lady in Salt Lake. I refer to her as sweet because she wasn't asking some OUTRAGEOUS amount for them. $30 for both :) SOLD!
I was so excited to dress them up a bit and use them with my photography...
I taped them up and used Krylon spray paint in assorted colors. The old tattered texture shows through the paint which was exactly what I was going for. I wanted to keep the aged look but spice them up with a new splash of paint! I absoutely LOVE the way they turned out and I've had lots of compliments on the bright colors. Here's a few of my end results:
