"Our Story" from both perspectives.....

Megan - I moved to Cache Valley in June when I got a position working for Cache Valley Specialty Hospital as a CNA. I started attending my area's student ward and absolutely loved it! My Bishop is awesome and there were lots of fun friends in it. But the ward was seriously lacking in cute boys :) In an interview with my Bishop, he asked me how my dating life was, to which I pulled a funny face and he replied " I know, our ward is really nerdy!" A few weeks later school started so all the students were back and our ward was a lot bigger. I happened to be visiting Panguitch and Morgan for the first few weekends when school started. So when I finally made it to church, it was fast sunday. In sacrament meeting, this really, really cute boy got up and bore his testimony. I remember thinking to myself 'That's the kind of guy I want: confident, cute, spiritual, tall, sexy voice, return missionary....' and I made up my mind that I would go on a date with that boy, whether he wanted to or not :) The next week in sunday school I walked in with my new friend Lucy (Matt's work wife...that's another story in itself haha!). We walked in and sat on the front row and I couldn't help but notice that really, really cute boy in the back row....checkin me out!! I decided that I really enjoyed coming to church now! Later in sacrament meeting I sat with Lucy again. I leaned over to her and whispered "Our ward has so many hot guys in it now!" Without missing a beat, Lucy said "Have you met my friend Kyle?" and pointed behind us. I turned around and there was the really, really cute boy sitting right behind us, grinning at me. We said our hello's and I'm pretty sure my face was a little rosy. I turned back around and wrote a little note to Lucy that said " That's so funny, he's one of the guys I was checkin out in Sunday School! haha!" I showed the note to Lucy, trying to be nonchalant, but she turned back to the boys and said "Don't you think we should have Megan over one of these nights?" Kyle casually smiled and replied, "Ya, that would be lots of fun!" I looked at Lucy with a confused, dazed look on my face to which she shot me a smirk and replied "Oh, they live in my basement." I was soooooooo excited :) That was the beginning of everything. We watched a movie that night and started 'hanging out' more and more. I love being with Kyle. We always have so much fun and he treats me like a Princess. He opens my door no matter if I'm driving or not. He took care of me this past week when I was sick (even though he was sick himself!). He's attempting to teach me Portugese and he's such a great teacher. I can't wait to spend the rest of eternity with him, and I'm so excited for every experience that awaits us. This just goes to show, it's worth staying at church for sacrament meeting! :)
Eu amo te Kyle!!!

Kyle - So after a year and a few months of being home from my mission Patrick, Cody, and I were finally able to find an apartment to move into- in the basement of Cody's friend Lucy's house. So we moved all our stuff in and started going to our new ward. It was a lot of fun and we had fun checking out all of the cute girls in our ward. One sunday we were all sitting in the back of the room in sunday school and Lucy walked in with this incredibly beautiful girl, and I could not help but check her out as they sat down. I turned to Pat and asked him if he knew who she was and how Lucy knew her. He had no idea, so we decided that we would find out after church. So in sacrament meeting we sat down and lucky for me both Lucy and this really cute girl sat down in front of me and I gave pat a little smile and a fist pound. hehehe! Then without saying anything Lucy turned around and said, "Kyle have you met my new friend Megan?" They turned back around after a short introduction and before I could say anything more Lucy turned around again and said "Dont you think that we should have Megan over for dinner one of these nights?" and with a little wink I told her of course and she explained to Megan that we lived in her basement. Then to my surprise a little ways into the meeting Lucy leaned back and handed me a note with a smiley face that said "SHE DIGS YOU!" of course an ear to ear smile went across my face. And after hanging out later that night I had not been able to wipe that ridiculous smile from my face. Megan is the Woman of my dreams and I cannot believe that I found her. It is crazy because right before I met Megan I had told all of my roommates and friends that I was done playing the dating game and that I was going to pull myself out of the game for a while. But I think that the big guy upstairs had another idea, and I am so glad he let me find Megan. I cannot wait to start the rest of our lives together and am excited to see what eternity will bring to us.
