Makin' the Swap!

Today I was supposed to be studying for my test. Instead, I was standing in the doorway of my kitchen, staring at the front room and wondering, "What the heck am I supposed to do with this room?" The problem with the room is 1. It's small. Very small. 2. There is a window or a door right smack in the middle of each wall. 3. I have a sectional. Kyle and I toyed around and finally got the room put together but it only worked one way. If you were coming into our front room from the front porch you ran right into the back of the couch. Not very inviting.

Well...at the testing center I was chatting with my good friend Wendy. She's the "testing center lady" at Bridgerland. I was talking to her about making furniture (my new obsession thanks to Knock Off Wood) and the subject of couches came up. It seems Wendy wanted to get rid of her microfiber couch and loveseat. LUCKY DAY!!!! I told her about my sectional that I was thinking of getting rid of. She stopped by to check it out and offered us a swap! I keep telling Wendy that she is getting the raw end of the deal but she's happy and so are we! I guess that's all that matters!!

Thanks Wendy!!! We love our front room now! It has definitely been our lucky day.
